Windows is asking me for a password - I never set a password?

Windows sets a password expiry by default, this causes a prompt to reset the password even if no password was set initially. As a part of my setup I now force the password expiry off to mitigate this issue however if you've bought from me in the past you may still have this problem.

The computer turns on but shows nothing on the monitor?

There can be multiple causes of this issue but the most common one is plugging in the monitor to the motherboard's ports instead of the graphics card's ports. When there is a graphics card installed the computer will default to using the graphics card ports which is normal, it will stop outputting on the motherboards ports.
